Best Actor Louis Koo Tin Lok is suspected of being influenced by his friend Jessica Hester Hsuan (Suen Huen). He recently opened an account on social networks, and interacted with people online from time to time. The two talked about each other's friendship in an interview. Suen Huen laughed and pointed out that on the set she was at the mercy of Koo Tin Lok's mood, and Koo Tin Lok made fun of her for being "mouthy", and the friendship was absolutely extraordinary!
As long as Koo Tin Lok (Goo Jai) is at the same place as Suen Huen, he would definitely "thaw" from his usually cool ways. Recently as the movie BACK TO THE PAST (CHUM CHUN GEI) has become a hot topic in the city, the couple has attracted even more attention. The movie has carried out a flood of promotional activities in various places earlier, and Goo Jai and Suen Huen teamed up to get away hearts from time to time, which has caused an uproar among fans. Regarding Goo Jai's changes, Suen Huen replied online, "Anything he doesn't want to do, no one can force him to."
Goo Jai has recently followed the trend and opened a new account on social networks to facilitate communication with a group of "PAST fans" and instantly attracted the attention of 210,000 followers. Some have speculated that the move was related to Suen Huen, who has been lively lately on that platform. In the first post, Goo Jai wrote 60 "Enter the meditation!" and played mysterious for those online to guess what he meant. Although he has written that "there was no prize if you guess right", the post still attracted a large number of enthusiastic responses online. Some people "broke the code" very quickly, exposing Goo Jai meant that PAST's Hong Kong box office has already surpassed HK$ 60 million.
Regarding Goo Jai's "new creation", some online questioned,, "This is definitely for PR group use, he himself would use a trumpet for patrol!" His company's artist Ng Siu Hin even dared to provoke, "There isn't even a picture, how can I believe you are Koo Tin Lok? I'm Koo Tin Lok too!" As soon as Goo Jai saw what was written, he immediately uploaded a video recording with a mobile phone, saying, "The PR team is me, I am the PR team, I ask you are you done for?!" The humorous performance cracked up the Internet. Goo Jai even followed Ng Siu Hin's account in real time. He was so flattered but did not forget to boast, "This time I said that I beat 99% of Hong Kong people, you can't argue with me, right?"
In addition, Goo Jai and Suen Huen talked about the details of filming the film PAST in an interview a few days ago. Goo Jai admitted that after filming the series he already had the idea of making a movie version. The script was also carefully selected, hoping to evoke collective memories. Suen Huen took the opportunity to "complain", "This time Goo Jai has to be taken care of everything, so in turn he can't play as crazily as he did before. (Do you have to watch yourself around Boss Koo?) I have always have to!" Goo Jai immediately countered that she was "mouthy", "She was outrageous while working on TV, she couldn't stop talking for 1 minute. Now she's a little better, she can reach two minutes. In short she keeps talking nonstop!"
Goo Jai and others will later represent the PAST film team to thank the audience in Malaysia, and will appear in Kuala Lumpur on the 23rd of this month for a fan meeting. As of the day before yesterday, the film has exceeded RM 10.2 million (about HK$19.57 million) at the box office there, becoming the fastest Hong Kong film to break through 10 million box office since 2020.
