Sammi Cheng Sau Man starred in the Lunar New Year film NIGHT KING (YEH WONG). Director Jack Ng Wai Lun asked her to sing the NIGHT KING promotional song STAR SHOW LEGEND (feat. TST East Night King Shine Once version) by name, re-recording Cheng Sau Man's 1997 fast song STAR SHOW LEGEND and making a music video.
Cheng Sau Man earlier worked on the music video with the casts. The female stars made sexy appearances, and the set was decorated like a disco with a mirror ball and colorful spotlights. "This idea came from the director. He found my song from many years ago and put it in NIGHT KING. This song is very suitable for the era the film takes place in. When the director gave this order, I thought of adding rap into it. On a rare occasion of having Alan (Yeung Wai Lun), who was in the group Juicyning (Chu Ling Ling), and Dee (Ho Kai Wah) here, they became responsible for the rap. 15 girls including Fish (Liew Chi Yu), Mandy (Tam Man Huen), and Louise (Wong Dan Nei) all performed the latest STAR SHOW LEGEND 2026 version.
At first Wong Dan Nei thought that she would shoot the music video in the recording studios with headphones on, so she did not expect the set to be like a disco. She listened the new version of STAR SHOW LEGEND like mad, and looked forward to watching the music video very much. Liew Chi Yu in the music video danced with all her emotions, and described it like attending a fitness class. "Originally I thought I would just move and shake a little. Seeing how much effort Sammi put in, I was right next to her and didn't feel right. So I also gave my all. I really have to properly learn from Sammi, then I would be in a better shape."
