Since its establishment on the eve of the millennium in 1999, Emperor Entertainment has entered the "25+" milestone this year, and has also witnessed the growth memories of different generations. The "25+ Emperor Ensemble Concert" will light up the main venue of Kai Tak Sports Park on May 4th, with a total investment of more than HK$ 100 million. At that time Emperor's artists will come out to stage a surprise cross- generational collaboration, so that the classic melodies that have accompanied everyone for 25 years will be shockingly reproduced in the form of creative collaborations. Nicholas Tse Ting Fung laughed and said that more than half of his life has been related to Emperor, and Joey Yung Cho Yee has regarded Emperor as her home and looked forward to using her "unique skills" to share with everyone the unique human touch and unity spirit of Emperor Entertainment.
The concert's subject is "Ensemble", and the core meaning of the concert is to co-create with peers, combining music, singing and performance, film, drama stage, dance and cross-border performances, etc., and is determined to build Kai Tak into a "century paradise", traveling with the audience through the past and the future.
The Chief Operating Officer of Emperor Entertainment Group Mani Fok Man Hei also shared, "Dr. (Albert) Yeung Sau Sing once said that where there are people, there is entertainment, and to connect with this land and people, I believe that concerts are the most direct and most accessible way to have fun with everyone."
As a member of the "original level" of the Emperor, Nicholas Tse said emotionally: "I grew up in Emperor, and I often laugh that more than half of my life is related to Emperor. Seeing the entire family has more and more new members joining in, I feel joy from my heart. I myself am looking forward to having collaborative sparks with them."
Yung Cho Yee said, "Since my official debut at Emperor Entertainment in 1999, I have grown with the company over the years; which is not only the starting point of my career, but also the starting point of my life. It is here I gained valuable family and friendship. For me, Emperor is my home, and boss, boss lady and every colleague are my family. I am very much looking forward to sharing with you the unique human touch and unity spirit of Emperor Entertainment through music and our 'unique skills' this evening."
The concert invited a lineup of hall-of-fame creators, including: the Hong Kong Film Awards Best Director and the chief director of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao National Games Andrew Lau Wai Keung to serve as the chief producer; multiple time Hong Kong Film Awards winner William Chang Shuk Ping to serves as the art director; and the master-class music producer who served as the music director for Tse Ting Fung's Kai Tak concert Carl Wong Sheung Chun.
Lau Wai Keung said, "Since its establishment in 1999, Emperor Entertainment has brought many popular classic songs to the Chinese world, and how to present the twists and turns and connections in stage and film techniques is a big challenge for me. I look forward to bringing a feast of multi-sensory enjoyment to the audience." Chang Shuk Ping believed that the lineup of film and television artists of Emperor Entertainment is huge, including many heavyweights and potential artists in the industry, and is of great importance in the global Chinese entertainment and cultural industry. Wong Sheung Chun said, "This collaboration with two heavyweights, based on the origin story of Emperor Entertainment, with a visually stunning and unexpected music lineup, runs through the classic period songs created by Emperor over the past 25 years, leaving a deep mark on the Hong Kong music scene, which can be regarded as a big breakthrough for me."
The main visual poster was designed by local illustrator sketchup, using hand-drawn small fresh style, depicting all the singer units under Emperor, capturing everyone's small expressions and small movements, showing their humorous nature.
