The Lunar New Year film THE SNOWBALL ON A SUNNY DAY (GUM DOR BO) opened officially on February 13th, its 14 days of advanced screenings in Hong Kong and Macau collected HK$ 1.68 million. On Valentine's Day on February 14th, director Philip Yung Tsz Kwong and a group of actors Elaine Jin (Kam Yin Ling, Sister Kam), Chung Suet Ying, Edan Lui Cheuk On, Jiro Lee Sheung Ching and Harriet Yeung Sze Man (Shrimp Head) tours theaters together for 20 audience appreciation shows.

Yung Tsz Kwong said that he still saw the audience crying when thanking the audience, and Sister Kam was even renamed "Grandma" by everyone. The audience liked the film for its tears within the laughter, so different actor combinations will be arranged to thank the audience during the Lunar New Year. He admitted that he was short on funds this time, and he borrowed money for the production to realize his dream.
