Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling won the Best Performance Award at the Woods Hole Film Festival in the United States for the Macau film REVISIT (HUNG WAN GOK) with Taiwanese actor Eric Hsiao Zimo four years ago. She was happy that the persistence of her actor's dream was finally recognized years later. In recent years she has been actively developing outward. Regarding Hong Kong as her roots Ngan Cheuk Ling longed to make Hong Kong films, but unfortunately productions have been few in recent years and there is a lot of competition. Hsiao Zimo and MIRROR member Anson Kong Yip Sing (AK) have a good relationship, revealing that he spent the Lunar New Year in Hong Kong. He stayed in AK's home, treated each other as the other's language teachers, and also revealed that they would shoot Taiwanese action movies together at the end of the year.

Ngan Cheuk Ling and Hsiao Zimo starred in REVISIT, which was about intergenerational family affection. Ngan Cheuk Ling plays granddaughter Ollie, who achieved her dream of directing by helping her grandmother who had a stroke regain the love memories of her youth. Ngan Cheuk Ling and Hsiao Zimo said hat in the film they would fantasize to become the younger versions of Grandma and Grandpa in love. Both Capricorns, although they were working together for the first time they also liked drama, had many common friends, and had many topics to speed up their familiarity.

Hsiao Zimo revealed that he spent the Lunar New Year in Hong Kong, visited the theme park with his good brother Anson Kong Yip Sing, and also wanted to invite Ngan Cheuk Ling to have fun with him. "I want to learn more Cantonese with the two of them, and I hope to have the opportunity to make Hong Kong films in the future. This time I made REVISIT to challenge Taiwanese and Cantonese dialogue, I usually speak Taiwanese, and I rely on AK to learn me Cantonese. Fortunately Ngan Cheuk Ling's Mandarin is great, which makes communicate easy during filming." Hsiao Zimo revealed that he would stay at AK's house when he visited Hong Kong to facilitate AK to practice Mandarin. "We will work together to make a Taiwanese action movie at the end of the year."

Ngan Cheuk Ling has been actively developing outward in recent years, previously co-starring with mainland actress Dilraba in the mainland drama LOVE ON THE TURQUOISE ISLAND, and completed another mainland drama TAKE A NAP before the Lunar New Year. Later she would team with a Taiwan actor on a drama. "Hong Kong is my root, I want to make Hong Kong movies too; but in recent years productions have been few and the competition has been tremendous."

Ngan Cheuk Ling won the Best Performance Award at the Woods Hole Film Festival in the United States for REVISIT and she was very touched. "2022 was still the novelcorona pandemic, and I had to quarantine for 21 days when I went to Macau for the filming. When filming the wedding scene I was so moved that I cried out of control, which was very unforgettable." She recalled that when she was young, she ran into opposition against her entering the industry. She understood that her parents wanted to protect her, fortunately she did not give up her ideals and was able to endure to today. "I have already made money to pay for my family expenses as a model in secondary school, but my parents were worried that I would make a mistake in my dream of becoming a star and would not be able to endure the hardships. When I starred in THE WAY WE DANCE (KONG MO PAI) and had good response, they changed their minds and knew that I am happy."

Ngan Cheuk Ling's granddaughter role in the film received a check from Grandma to support her dream to direct, Hsiao Zimo said that he had a similar experience and the person who supported him was his grandfather. "I have lived with my grandparents since I was a child. When I graduated from high school my grandfather gave me a gift, which was a check of NT$ 5 million (about 1.25 million Hong Kong dollars). He told me to do whatever I wanted, and it would be better if I used it to study. Later I was admitted to a university in Taiwan and didn't need much money. Grandpa passed away when I was seventeen or eighteen years old, so I deposited the money in the bank and didn't dare to touch it. I finally used it to buy a house when I grew up."

35-year-old Hsiao Zimo said that he is currently single, and said with a smile that he wanted to ask AK to be a matchmaker. "I prefer athletic and easy-to-get along girls, I don't want to date people in the circle. I don't care about other people's opinions, but I am afraid that the romantic status will continue to be magnified and cause harm to the woman; so my past girlfriends are all outsiders."

Ngan Cheuk Ling pursued pure love. When choosing a mate, she emphasized the consistency of three views and spiritual communication, appearance and financial situation were secondly. "REVISIT tells me the importance of family, and the happiness of a lifetime should be taken seriously. Of course I don't want to break up. I didn't ask my friends to make introductions directly, but I asked married people how to sense that someone is their lifelong partner."
