The Hong Kong modern city comedy FAR, FAR AWAY (LUEN LO SAN KA LA)'s end credit song MELANIE was named after lead actress Jennifer Yu Heung Ying's character "Meh Jeh" Melanie, with music by independent musician Tsui Ka Ho, lyrics by FAR director Amos Why (Wong Ho Yin) and performed by music newcomer Henick Chou Hon Ning. Chou Hon Ning said that he like the lead actor Kaki Sham in the film had a crush on a goddess who was "taller and bigger" than he was, but unlike him he was unsuccessful in his challenge. He joked, "In the film Kaki has brought encouragement and hope to us in the 'men's division'. As long as you are true hearted and sincere, no matter how 'far' 'far away' is you would be able to find that person who would take the journey with you." He even revealed that this time was not his first theme song. As early as in second grade MCDULL creator Alice Mak Ka Bik invited him to sing the song TEACH ME HOW TO TAKE A WIZZ for the film MCDULL, PRINCE DE LA BUN. Online you could still relive the then only 7 year old Chou Hon Ning's performance.
