The Emperor Motion Picture JUST 1 DAY (CUP NGOR 1 TIN) was based on Erica Li Man's novel of the same name. She would direct for the first time. The cast included Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin, Wong Cho Nam, Kathy Yuen (Tong Yee), Eric Kwok Wai Leung, and Michelle Wai Sze Man guest starred. Ah Sa admitted that she has looked forward to it for a very long time already. "The film is full of Hong Kong nostalgia, a movie with a lot of 'homecoming' feeling!"

The film would be a love story that would be filled with Hong Kong collective memories, with Choi Cheuk Yin and Wong Cho Nam tailored this one day only date. They brought the audience to discover some neglected scenery, people and locations anew, and found that long missing intimacy through the camp life. Ah Sa believed that the film would not only bring back everyone's beautiful memories but also make them cherish Hong Kong as the place they grew up in. "For this production, we really went all over Hong Kong. Aside from landmarks like City Hall and the Star Ferry Pier, Wong Cho Nam once lived in Sham Shui Po. We went there on location too. Old Main Street Aberdeen was where I grew up, which coincidentally was one of the location as well!"

Cho Nam before the performance was full prepared. He explained, "The so called "long awaited" just refers to waiting for a chance. Over the years I mainly entertain the general public. When would people see my romantic side? Finally, welcome to this film!" Cho Nam revealed that when his wife Leanna Li Yanan read the script, she immediately screamed that the male lead -- city sketch artist Ma Choi Hak was just like her husband in secondary school! Cho Nam added, "When I was little, I really liked drawing, music, and I have always been stubborn in love. When I love someone, after many years I still would love them as much. I may look happy on the outside, but I don't tell outsiders about the hurt inside. Papa was gone at the same time. In these several areas I really resemble the character, so that explains why I would fall in love at first sight with this script and very quickly was moved by it!"

Working with Ah Sa again, Cho Nam described that starting from discussing the script, their mutual trust level was already extremely high. "Ah Sa has made many romantic films and has certain senses, especially this is a script that starts with a girl, so I have to listen to Ah Sa's ideas about it. Then I observed from the sidelines. Basically in the film she was a fairy tale character, how would she set off spark with this 100% romantic character of mine. This feeling I have to trust Ah Sa to, everyone would speak up without any reservation. Then we studied different possibilities. Only then would the movie would be entertaining!"
