A mainland government organization earlier reported a film and television investment scam case that involved 4 companies and 12 movies, which included the Shu Qi starred A BROKEN DEAL and the Aaron Kwok Fu Sing and Miriam Yeung Chin Wa starred I'M LIVIN' IT (MUK LO YUN). Reportedly the swindlers used false information to mislead investors into buying stocks. Currently over 2,100 victims have been uncovered in the investigation and over 700 million yuan RMB were involved.
Reportedly those involved in the case have mostly worked at large sized film and television companies, thus they understood the film production and distribution regulations rather well. Victims would have certain difficulties in their lawsuit.
