[2023.10.07] TABLE FOR SIX 2 ISSUES WEDDING INVITATION FOR NEXT YEAR RELEASE

The film TABLE FOR SIX opened last year in September for the Mid Autumn Festival. During the pandemic the cast wore masks for audience appreciation events, viewers also had to wear masks to go to the movies. In the end it made over HK$ 77 million. Director Sunny Chan Wing Sun would follow up with TABLE FOR SIX 2. Yesterday Edko Films on social media announced TABLE FOR SIX 2's release next year with a wedding invitation. On it were new names to the family, but not the Chan family (Dayo Wong Tze Wa, Louis Cheung Kai Chung, Peter Chan Cham Man)'s previous cast actor names. Many online saw the "wedding invitation" and were baffled, because other than Fish Liew Chi Yu, the rest of the list were all new names. Some could not wait to write, "Everyone has changed......big brother, second brother and third brother are all gone." Some were upset, saying that a different story should change the title and needed not use TABLE FOR SIX 2. Some said that "the dinner guests were all different" and also declared, "I want Wong Tze Wa!"

Some also mentioned that the wedding invitation had "the Chan Family TABLE FOR SIX 2 wedding", believing that the Chan Brothers (Dayo Wong Tze Wa, Louis Cheung Kai Chung and Peter Chan Cham Man) would not escape. The wedding invitation was the newly added cast member list, making the movie even more cheerful.
