After rising to fame in the mainland, William Chan Wai Ting 16 years ago started in Hong Kong. No wonder he has always had an indescribable connection to this "Peal of the Orient". Last year he gradually moved his work focus to Hong Kong in hopes of making at least one satisfying work. After working with Nick Cheung Ka Fai on the film BURSTING POINT (BAU LIT DIM), he again worked on an Asian series that shot on location in Hong Kong. In it he and Best Actress Cya Liu would be in pursuit of a criminal, halfway through the series shoot they have already shot all over Hong Kong. One could only imagine how tough it has been to work in the scorching heat, but he stated that the production has been pleasant and he had no pressure at all. Reportedly, William in order to fulfilled his "Hong Kong dream" has already expressed to his manager that he wanted to change his genre. As he felt that he has begun to enter middle age, he would not want to work on many sweetheart idol series. Thus he has turned down at least 6 or 7 mainland series and variety program offers, which could be worth in hundreds of millions in total. Despite that, he still thought it would be worth the effort and even received the endless support from the company.
