The 36th Golden Rooster Awards would take place in November. Yesterday the nominations were announced. With 40 years in the business Tony Leung Chiu Wai earlier received the 80th Venice Film Festival Lifetime Achievement Golden Lion Prize. With the film HIDDEN BLADE (MO MING) he received his first Golden Rooster Awards Best Actor nomination. The Hong Kong film A GUILTY CONSCIENCE (DUK SIT DAI JONG) received 4 nominations including Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Director Debut and Best Music.

Kara Wai Ying Hung with the film LOVE NEVER ENDS received a Best Actress nomination. Wai Ying Hung posted on Weibo, "Once I saw a film critic that really touched me online.
