Eddie Cheung and Venus Wong play a May December couple but appearance wise they do not look too far apart

Eddie Cheung Siu Fai, Venus Wong Man Yik, Helena Law Lan, Fabienne Kwan Fung Hing and director Danny Pang Fat yesterday attended the horror film JOI SUN YUN (RESURRECTED PERSON)'s production start worship ceremony. The film's Malaysia version was even a selection for the 23rd Udine Far East Film Festival. Playing the "May December couple" in the film, Cheung Siu Fai and Wong Man Yik admitted that have not felt the pressure from it. Instead they looked forward to being able to set off different spark under the guidance of the director.

Wong Man Yuk stated that when she just read the script she got goose bumps. "Just from reading the script I already imagined how horrifying the scenes would be." Even though this is a horror film, it has its share of relationship scenes. Wong Man Yik said that she enjoyed the production process very much. "After several days in production, I realize that this movie has even more emotions than I imagine. It has flesh and blood." She also revealed that almost everyday has been high strength production rundown, from 6AM to 10PM. Cheung Siu Fai even pointed out that after finishing a scene, he could not leave immediately. Instead he had to maintain the same position and emotion to begin the next scene. The process has been very intense. He joked that after finishing this movie he would need to take a break.

"Ghost Queen" Law Lan worked with "Ghost King" director Pang Fat on a movie for the first time. Law Lan thanked the director, feeling that she was able to participate in this film production was her "destiny" with the director. Director Pang said that he and Sister Lan knew each other already, but have never worked together. This time could considered as fulfilling everyone's expectation. They also said that this time they would not team up to scare the audience, because what makes horror films entertaining is scaring yourself. Pang Fat said that his previous ghost film was already 11 years go. Speaking of the Malaysian version of the film being a 23th Udine Far East Film Festival selection, Director Pang said that due to certain reasons it was unable to be released. He revealed that because he really enjoyed the story of the Malaysian version, he purchased the right to remake it and found Hong Kong actors anew in hopes of being able to make a Hong Kong's own horror film.
