The Nick Cheung Ka Fai directed and starred KEEPER OF DARKNESS (TOR DEI KUI MOR YUN) after 12 days in release made over HK$ 12 million. He two nights ago celebrated with his friends and the team. Fresh out of the oven Golden Horse Best Actress Karena Lam Ka Yun, Shi Yanneng, Emotion Cheung Kam Ching, Lawrence Ng Kai Wa, Angie Cheong Wai Yee, Andrew Lau Wai Keung, Tse Suet Sum and Mark Lui Chung Tak attended. They not only celebrated the box office success but also Lam Ka Yun's Golden Horse Award. Cheung Ka Fai prepared cake and champagne for the occasion.

Ka Yun and Ka Fai had no scene together in the film. She guest starred as childhood Ka Fai's poor mother. She not only was a single parent but her son also was able to see ghosts. She often released her stress on her son and even wanted to jump off a building with him. Although she did not have a lot of screen time, she was very important to the film. During the shoot she had huge mood swings, which was very difficult. Ka Fai and Ka Yun were very excited about this "mother and son" reunion. Ka Yun said that she won only because of Ka Fai's luck, from now on they would have to work more often. Ka Fai said that in the film they were "mother and son". After Ka Yun won the Golden Horse screen queen, he also became the "Golden Horse Prince".

Ka Fai also thanked the people for their support. As for the overwhelming online support for a sequel, he said that he would seriously consider directing again to thank the audience. As for the subject of the sequel, Ka Fai joked that it might be LOVER OF DARKNESS (TOR DEI KUI MOR "CHING") and continued the ending's touching romance. He promised that the sequel's story will definitely be even more exciting and would resolve this film's dangling plot lines. The characters will also switch around, perhaps he will arrange for Jacky Cheung Hok Yau who was only left with two shots in this film to be his brother. Lam Ka Yun might even develop into even closer person. Ka Fai asked those who have not seen the film to support it. The film's final box office will depend whether a sequel will be made. Everyone was very supportive of Ka Fai's intention to make a sequel, and said that as long as Ka Fai asked they would come and help.
