The film 1911 two days ago held its official microblog launch in Beijing. Playing Dr. Sun Yat-Sen in the film, Winston Chao stated that now a lot of information were learned through microblogs. Although he did not have one, he had a blog. To salute Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, he even personally wrote "All Under Heaven Are Equal".

Winston Chao in THE SOONG SISTERS and other films played Dr. Sun and thus earned the title of "Professional Dr. Sun Yat-Sen". He said that when Mabel Cheung Yuen Ting asked him to perform in THE SOONG SISTERS, he was in disbelief. Before the performance he even placed a painting of Dr. Sun at home to study. Later after he was familiar with his performance he took the picture down. This time was already the fifth time he played Dr. Sun. He said, "This time the image changed. I wore a mouth piece to lift up my face to look more like the character." How did this performance differ from his past ones? He said that biggest difference was this time the investment was very high, the production had the most attention and the image bared the most resemblance.

1911 was Jackie Chan's 100th film. He even directed and played Huang Xing. Winston Chao revealed that Jackie Chan would bring several cases of buns to the set every time for the team. The buns were so delicious that he still could remember it. He also revealed that once the location was very poor, many extras could not walk in the cold. Jackie Chan immediately jumped out and yelled at the extras, "Go everyone go! After the shoot anyone who wants a picture with me can come find me." At that time the extras were greatly encouraged and their conditions immediately improved.
