The film WOMAN KNIGHT OF THE MIRROR LAKE (GAING HUNG NUI HUP -- CHAU KUN) yesterday held a promotion in Tseung Kwan O. Attendees included Huang Yi, Rose Chan Ka Wun, Dennis To Yu-Hang, Wong Yau Nam, Tsui Tin Yau and Lollipop's Wayne Liu (A Wei). A Wei's fans surrounded the entire venue. Every time he spoke, fans shrieked. At the event A Wei, To Yu-Hang, Chan Ka Wun also taught fans swordplay. A fan said to A Wei, "A Wei I love you." A Wei also hug fans.
Later, A Wei pointed out that this time he came to Hong Kong as an actor and his fans all became film fans. He thought Hong Kong fans were very passionate. A Wei said that in this film he had many action scenes and also had gun play scenes, which made him very excited. He thought that an actor could do a lot that a singer could not. For example an idol singer could never wear his hair like how his was in the film. In the film he also carried many explosives and finally even sacrificed himself for the Revolution. Before the shoot, he learned Wing Chun and has been training himself. In the future the company will take more action roles for him. Would he be willing to get naked for a movie? He said that he could be topless, the rest would depend on whether he was making LUST CAUTION 2 (SIK GAI 2). Was he confident about his lower half? He said yes but he needed to work out more. Reporters jokingly asked how he would train there? He joked, "I too look forward to my October record release, which would have many lower body dance steps. I believe it will be very suitable to the Hong Kong audience taste."
Did Chan Ka Wun feel A Wei stole the show? She said no as she was able to see her fans too. She was very happy that everyone was able to promote together. To Yu-Hang pointed out that every time A Wei came to Hong Kong they would go to the school to study Wing Chun together. Due to his dance background A Wei learned very quickly. Huang Yi pointed out that singer fans were crazier but they looked very energetic. In the future she would be busy promoting the film in many places like Beijing, Harbin, Guangzhou, Wuhan and Chengdu. Constantly staying at different hotels, she felt like she was wandering.
