The 12th Chinese American Film Festival two days ago opened in Los Angeles. Mainland film OPERATION MEKONG received Best Film, Best Producer and Best Actor at the opening ceremony and the "Golden Angel Award" presentation. Zhang Hanyu saluted the Chinese drug enforcement police when he accepted the Best Actor award. Gua Ah-Leh received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
