83 year old veteran actor Yu Mo Lin earlier was
hospitalized for pulmonary fibrosis and was transferred to the ICU for
awhile. She was rumored to have a rare cancer and remained in the
hospital until the middle of last month when her condition began to
improve. According to friends, Yu Mo currently was in stable condition
and her life was not in danger. She has been transferred out of the
ICU but she could not eat. Currently she still was not able to breathe
on her own, thus she was not able to speak yet. Due to the pandemic
friends and family were unable to visit. Yu Mo felt very bored.
Luckily with the help of the healthcare team she was able to video
chat with friends.
However Mo Yu's 99 year old Cantonese film era actress mother
Tang Mei Mei was rumored to have passed away on December 7th. Mother Yu
has always lived in Los Angeles. Years ago she moved to a nursing
home and required a wheel chair. Currently Yu Mo still had no idea
about her mother's death. Friends felt that Yu Mo was not in a condition
to be informed yet, not to mention that the mother and daughter
relationship has always been distant.
