Singer Hins Cheung King Hin began working on his new film. Yesterday at Central he shot a deafening explosion scene. The 1 minute scene already cost half a million! Hin Jai was fearless and said that he would personally challenge a series of fight scenes. After years away from the silver screen, Cheung King Hin recently "returned" to star in the Emperor Lunar New Year comedy CHIU SUN GAING HAI GIP ONG (SUPER CRAZY ARMED ROBBERY CASE). The team earlier already began production under low profile. Yesterday morning over 100 people on staff gathered at Central, including guest star MISS MASK PAGEANT 2 candidate Wong Wing Heng. The team blocked off roads to shoo the film's opening. Reportedly, the short 1 minute footage already cost HK$ 500,000. Many stunt people were on hand as well as many gun fights and explosion scenes took place. Playing the security guard, Hin Jai put a lot of effort into the character. Before hand he accepted shooting training, and he would personally perform almost all of the stunts. In the face of the dusty explosion scene he still showed no fear. He even revealed that later he would be hung up and beaten. "I heard that someone would streak. (Would you be willing?) Then I have to discuss the salary first, haha!"
Speaking of the gun fight scene, Hin Jai revealed that he was an "old hand'. While in school in the Mainland he accepted military training. "Mainland students had these courses. At the time when I shot there was kick back, my chest was bruised. This time I would use a pistol and a rifle, and the shots won't be continuous. Several bullets already equal to I don't know how many rice boxes." Yesterday the temperature reached over 30 degrees Celsius. He had to wear 4 layers of clothes including the bulletproof vest, although he was sweating bullets he was still very focused. After about 2 hours he finished all of the shoot, which went very smoothly.
As for his character this time, he said, "The one who comes running to take the credit, in front of junior Jeffrey he prevents to be the veteran. Every company has this type of people, haha! (How are you getting along with other actors?) Earlier we just worked for a day, i feel I have to hold back a little. All of 'Lord Hin's' odd stuff are out, like me normally. (Are you almost dizzy from the heat?) Yesterday when we officially shot we immediately had to work on a fight scene, which was even tough. Even the 'undies' were all wet!"
Hin Jai said that he was already fully prepared mentally. Later he would shoot a major scenes in the hills and he believed that the environment would be even worse. "Actually I only have one costume, this costume would become more and more worn, I would get dirtier and dirtier." Would the cast have any addition? He admitted, "This time the main cast is in the 20s, the director and I have been looking for a mystery guest, but we haven't made the final confirmation. Maybe if the script feels right we would add someone, the cast could easily go over 100. I hope to bring a pleasant surprise to everyone."
