In the Mainland, fans at a shopping center's giant television played Sister Mui's different performance to relive Sister Mui's glory. In addition, the "Anita Mui International Fan Club" also booked a show at a Tsim Sha Tsui cinema and screened Sister Mui's 1990 and 1991 concert at the Academic Community Hall, "Anita Rock Through The Night". Outside the cinema fans only displayed Sister Mui's "Cover Girl" record cover photo, other fans carried Sister Mui's photos, fresh flowers, turned on their phone flash light for a sea of lights. Before the show opened they sang Happy Birthday and wished Sister Mui well in Heaven.

All the seats were filled. Ms. Lee said that every year on October 10th Sister Mui's birthday they would have a gathering. "When Sister Mui was alive, every year she would hold a birthday party at her home. After she passed, we still had a gathering every year as we felt like she was still alive. We all celebrated her birthday together! With this year's free concert screening, the response was very enthusiastic."
