The 10 day long 35th Tokyo International Film Festival opened yesterday. The Sylvia Chang and Simon Yam Tat Wa starred A LIGHT NEVER GOES OUT (DUN FOR LAN SHAN) was the only Hong Kong film selected for the "Asian Future" segment. Its stars Cecilia Choi Sze Wan and Henick Chou Hon Ning along with producer Saville Chan Sum Yiu and director Anastasia Tsang Hin Ning flew to Tokyo to represent the film on the red carpet.
This was Ceci's first red carpet event outside Hong Kong. She said due to the pandemic she has not traveled for two or three years, the feeling was both strange and familiar. She hoped through the film to have exchanges with viewers and filmmakers there and looked forward to be able to fun into her favorite actors. Chou Hon Ning admitted that he was both excited and nervous. At the moment of arrival he was almost moved to tears.
