Simon Yam Tat Wa, Ron Ng Cheuk Hei, female newcomer Chan Chi Huen, Justin Cheung Kin Sing and producer Charlie earlier started production on the film YUEN SUN JUI in San Po Kong. Yam Tat Wa and Ng Cheuk Hei just finished one film and immediately worked together again on another. They were rather close and had numerous interactions on the set. Yam Tat Wa even personally took videos and photos for him. They could not help but quickly ask him to direct again!
Yam Tat Wa revealed that later he would head to Thailand for a film. "Originally I was to go at the end of the month, but now due to the pandemic it probably would be delayed for a week or two. The schedule is still being adjusted, I would take all the preventive measures." He pointed out that the reason he took the role was to support new director Sham Ka Yin, who had many innovative ideas that he admired very much.
Ng Chuek Hei said that he was very happy to work with Yam Tat Wa again. "I used to see him at events and already really wanted to make a movie with him. Now as soon as we did we are working on two. My wish has come true!" His hand was injured, which was the old would that the previous film left. He said, "I got hurt earlier while working on a movie, likely maybe because I am moving more I have injured it again. My hand is swollen like I am wearing a plastic glove. The doctor says it's fasciitis."
Although Chan Chi Huen is new she has countless opportunities. Earlier in the film BEYOND THE SIN (NGOK HUNG JI OI) she worked with Louis Koo Tin Lok. This time she would even play the lead as Yam Tat Wa's sister. She revealed that Kenneth Tsang Kong would also be in the film, which for her was a dream team that she was very happy about. This time her character was rather sad, so she needed to watch cartoons to reduce stress. Cheung Kin Sing, Ashina Kwok Yik Sum and the band Dear Jane's Tim said that this collaboration has been rather pleasant and laughter has never ceased on the set.
