The Donnie Yen Chi Tan starred, Wilson Yip Wai Shun directed, Raymond Wong Pak Ming produced IP MAN 4: THE FINALE will open for Christmas. From "I want to fight against ten" in the first installment ten years ago to the "round table battle" in the second, to the previous installment's "three minute sparring" with Mike Tyson, the IP MAN series has successfully created kung fu action classic repeatedly. In the final round, under the leadership of action director Yuen Woo Ping this installment added a mix of Tai Chi, Karate, and free style fighting. Yen Chi Tan said, "Action director Yuen Woo Ping belongs to the master class, I am not worried at all about the designs. They definitely will give you some new elements."

Chi Tan this time had to fight Scott Adkins, an English action actor who is twice his size, with not only Ip Man's trademark lightning punches but also headlocks, flying kicks and elbows. Scott excitedly said that he has always seen Chi Tan's action film, thus he agreed as soon as he got the invitation. He said, "The IP MAN series undoubtedly has the best kung fu action films. When I am a part of it, Yen Chi Tan's speed, action, Wing Chun styles completely surprise me." Scott even stated that in one scene, the director told them to trade two shots before Scott would strike back, but in the end Yen Chi Tan's speed was too fast that he instinctively blocked Chi Tan's attack as soon as he began.
