The 74 year old Song God Sam Hui Koon Kit's seven show
Hong Kong Coliseum concert series opened last night. Two nights ago
the Hui family went to the rehearsal to cheer him on. Before the show
Sam took part in a worship ceremony, and interacted with fans to shake
hands and sign autographs. The event turned the stage into Sam's home,
with his favorite leopard print designs, television, piano, sofa,
bathtub, on the center of the stage was giant vinyl record. Sam
appeared with a leopard print hat, a glittering black suit and a violin
as he opened the show with IMPRESSION. After 3 songs he said, "After
waiting for 3 years I am very happy. Tonight I would have a long time
to sing, at least 4 hours. Singing more would make me live longer,
extend my longevity. Tonight I want to sing with everyone, the
3 year pandemic felt like surviving a disaster. I feel how small the
world is." He then sang IT'S A SMALL WORLD and handed the microphone
to fans and sang AH LONG LOVE SONG with them. For pandemic prevention
the microphones were changed after each viewer finished singing.
