Lokman Yeung's acting in the new film MAD FATE (MING ONG) caught attention. The film company released a production special. Director Soi Cheang Pou Soi explained the reason he chose Lokman, and praised that his performance in numerous auditioning was rather uniform. "He made me believe that he understood this character." Producer and screenwriter Yau Nai Hoi said that one of the auditions was the stepping in blood scene. Lokman's eyes gave a chilling effect.
Playing the son of a cafe owner in the film, Lokman was cruel and violent and had the impulse to kill. He needed to rely on snapping rubber bands to control his desire to kill; Cheang Pou Soi revealed that Lokman did not receive any special protection for the rubber band snapping scene. He did not ask for any protective measure either. In another scene Gordon Lam Ka Tung force fed him charm water, which was also shot directly. Lokman spoke about the rubber band snapping scene, "That type of pain is straight to the heart, at the same time the more it hurt the more I was able to get into the character. When I got home I realized that my hands were all bruised from the rubber bands."
