[2023.04.30] OVER MY DEAD BODY EXCEEDS HK$ 20 MILLION AT THE HONG KONG BOX OFFICE

The Ho Cheuk Tin directed, Teresa Mo Shun Kwan, Ronald Cheng Chung Kei, Edan Lui Cheuk On, Jennifer Yu Heung Ying, Wong Yau Nam, and Yeung Wai Lun starred film OVER MY DEAD BODY (SEI SI SEI SI SEI SUP SEI) opened on April 4th. As of two days ago after 55 days in release its cumulative box office has exceeded HK$ 20 million and landed it in second place among 2023 Hong Kong films. The team also continued to work hard on audience appreciation events and promotions. Yesterday Ho Cheuk Tin, Yeung Wai Lun and Wu Lai Ying went to a Sha Tin cinema for audience appreciation. The Hong Kong government yesterday launched Hong Kong Cinema Day when tickets were all HK$ 30. The advanced sales response was enthusiastic as most cinemas were sold out.

The OVER MY DEAD BODY cast upon learning about exceeding HK$ 20 million at the box office were excited. Sister Mo hoped that everyone would continue to support Hong Kong films and continue to support OVER MY DEAD BODY. Cheng Chung Kei revealed that he and Edan during the shoot had many interesting stories. He would tell everyone when the box office would reach HK$ 30 million. Edan also wanted to know what Cheng Chung Kei referred to as interesting and hoped to have a chance to hear him. At the same time he hoped that everyone would gain something after watching the film.
