[2023.04.12] SAM HUI CONTINUES TO PASS THE CANTONESE SONG TORCH WITH TWO GUESTS

The fourth show of the SAM HUI IN ONE PLACE concert 2023 took place two nights ago. Sam Hui Koon Kit's stage charm remained until the end of the show, as the audience was unwilling to leave the Hong Kong Coliseum until after the final song KEEP SMILING.

As Sam mentioned many times before, he wanted to pass on Cantonese songs. Thus every night the guest performer would be singers from different eras and different genres, like handing off the baton they performed Sam's songs with him.

The first three nights only had one concert guests each night, but the fourth night had two. Sam said when introducing the first guest. "1964 had a very moving Italian love song, in 2004 I gave it Chinese lyrics and the song title was KISS MY CHEEK. 19 years later, I received a call from D'Topnotes singer Christine Samson. She told me, she has a student named Georgina Henderson. She is only 16. Although she is a foreigner, when she sings KISS MY CHEEK she has a lot of emotions. So tonight I want to introduce her to everyone." Georgina after appearing on stage performed KISS MY CHEEK, by the second verse applause already arose again from the audience.

Sam later introduced the second guest. "She frequently participates in our Sunday band jam. She isn't just pretty, she also sings very outstandingly. She is Chan Hoi Tung." Lillian Chan Hoi Tung performed INVINCIBLE IS LOVE with Sam. After the song Lillian said, "Thank you Uncle Sam for always helping me. Only because of you can I return to the Hong Kong Coliseum again. I feel Uncle Sam is very amazing, because he is the Cantonese song Song God."

Sam after completing the performance that night took a photo with Sam's Angels, who came to show their support and were backstage waiting for him. They caught up on the good old days.
