The Stephen Chow Sing Chi directed JOURNEY TO THE WEST (SAI YAU GONG MOR PIN) will be released on February 10. He has made frequent appearances to promote the film. Sing Yeh revealed that he and Shu Qi practiced kiss scenes on the set. "I have a very hard time arranging them. (Did Shu Qi have any opinion?) She is very gracious!" Shu Qi said that Sing Yeh was just joking with the media, but when she got Sing Yeh's call for the movie she was so happy that she joked from the sofa. Sing Yeh often personally instructed actors on the set, so his acting bug had its fill.

When asked whether returning to JOURNEY TO THE WEST for the story was doing the same old thing, he did not mind. Sing Yeh said that in the past he asked to create his own scripts. 8 to 10 years ago he already thought about how to make JOURNEY TO THE WEST again; actually, this is something that is all new and not the same old thing. This story is very rich and has a lot of space for development, thus if the audience accepts it, he will continue to do the same old thing.

Speaking of people who have worked with him airing their grievances against him lately, Sing Ye said that occasionally he would read such reports but would not pay special attention to them. He just laughed them off.
