Eric Tsang Chi Wai yesterday promoted the Lunar New Year film I LOVE HONG KONG 2013 (2013 NGOR OI HK GUNG HEI FAT CHOI). He said that many after seeing the screening praised Veronica Yip Yuk Hing's comeback performance and hoped that when she would return to Hong Kong to promote and watch the premiere next week they could tempt her acting bug again. Chi Wai said, "Her resignation is truly too regrettable. Earlier she said that she would return for a movie and a series, after the incident I didn't dare to mention that to her again. Actually I had a good script that I wanted to tempt her to come back with, it can wait until the summer so she can bring her daughter."

Chi Wai revealed that Tony Leung Ka Fai who started with TVB training class admitted that he bled "TVB blood" and recently contacted him to return for a television series. "Ka Fai asked me how TVB was lately, I said it was much better than before. Thus he asked me to arrange for a series and a character. Ka Fai said that after graduation he went to Shaw and never made a series. However he owed TVB so he wanted to return and make a series." Ka Fai earlier said that Shaw owed him salary from a previous Lunar New Year film. Chi Wai said, "Ka Fai said that he would ask executive (Elaine) Lok Yi Ling." He praised Wong Cho Na's INBOUND TROUBLES (LO BIU NEI HO YEH) as funny. Although the subject was controversial, he felt that when the inspiration arrived it had to be made and should not be restricted.

Alan Tam Wing Lun tried to play intermediary between Show Luo (Law Chi Cheung) and Anthony Wong Chau Sun, who called him nosy. Chi Wai said, "Alan spoke up at that venue thinking that he was helping Piggy. An intermediary had to speak from an objective stance. Actually it's very minor, there is no need to make it worse."

As for the progress between the five major record labels and TVB, reportedly Shell King Chan Kwok Keung spoke up for TVB and reduced the royalty by half. Chi Wai said, "Mr. Chan paid personal attention to the matter, he represented TVB in hopes of a quick resolution for the matter." As for Kelly Chen Wai Lam and Hacken Lee Hak Kun's return to TVB in the Lunar New Year, Chi Wai said that for now he had no idea.
