"The Strongest in the Universe" Donnie Yen Chi Tan earlier announced that he would work on the 200 million yuan epic SAKRA (TIN LUNG BAK BO ji KIU FUNG JUEN). The female roles have always been the focus. Yesterday Grace Wong Kwan Hing was rumored to be the lead actress, but she immediately clarified and said that she would only play a role. Reportedly, the fresh out of the oven Best Actress Cya Liu would be the real lead actress as "Ah Chi". Mainland star Yukee Chen Yuqi would play "Ah Chu"

The Wong Jing produced wuxia film SAKRA is in production in Zhejiang. Yen Chi Tan would play "Kiu Fung" while the female roles remained mysteries. Earlier Chi Tan insisted in an interview against "artificial beauties" as he hoped to find an actress who could act and had a fresh aura. Yesterday Wong Kwan Hing who earlier left TVB was rumored to be the lead!

Reportedly, the lead actress has been set. The role of Ah Chu would go to the Mainland series HEAVEN SWORD AND DRAGON SABRE's "most beautiful Chiu Man" Yukee Chen Yuqi. Ah Chi would be the fresh out of the oven Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress Cya Liu. Because she just finished her film in Hong Kong and would need to be in quarantine in the Mainland later, she has yet to join the team. Wong Kwan Hing would play Lady Ma. The other Best Actress Kara Wai Ying Hung would play "Ah Chu" and "Ah Chi"'s mother.

Reportedly, the roles have been offered as early as 2 months ago. Cya Liu already confirmed her performance before winning the Best Actress Awards. Wong Jing and Chi Tan really had sharp eyes! However, the team still kept the cast confidential. Yen Chi Tan's staff replied, "In regards to Wong Hing Kwan's character, film audition and other details, they would wait the official response. Currently we are rushing to handle the set and locations and for now we are not at liberty to respond."
