Louis Koo Tin Lok spent ten years and over HK$ 450 million, starred and produced the science fiction film WARRIORS OF FUTURE (MING YUT JIN GEI) and the Aaron Kwok Fu Sing starred WHERE THE WIND BLOWS (FUNG JOI HEI sI0 were chosen to be the 46th Hong Kong International Film Festival opening film. They appeared on the red carpet two nights ago and opened the 17 day film festival. Returning from promoting in the Mainland, Goo Jai faced the box office performance with the steel and infallible body. Sing Sing was very happy to work with Tony Leung Chiu Wai again after 33 years and hoped to have a chance to play a mute role.

Goo Jai two nights ago with Philip Keung Ho Man and director Ng Yuen Fai appeared on the red carpet together. Speaking of WARRIORS OF FUTURE being already in Mainland release, was he pleased with the box office? Goo Jai said, "I am made of steel, I won't fall. Even if I fall I would immediately get back up. Everyone relax!" Speaking of while promoting in the Mainland, he once said not to let him feel like he was alone. He explained that it referred to his (film) journey. Now he has two people (Keung Ho Man and Ng Yuen Fai) next to him. He also denied that he got sentimental at an audience appreciation event. "If it was true, there should be a video. Actually the air conditioning was not on at the cinema at the time, the temperature was too hot; but I did get sentimental. Because the film took 10 years to make, it wasn't easy at all. The most important is to have everyone's support at the movies; also, as a science fiction film, no matter how successful or not, it should be examined. Only this way would there be room for improvement, and even better performance. With this in mind, spending a lot of time and money make sense. Otherwise I would never learn this well. (How would you grade your first science fiction film?) I won't self evaluate, but absolutely I only release it because I feel it is good. It can be even better, but I need to keep learning and accumulating experience to be able to improve. I hope everyone after watching would review the film."

As for describing all those who went to support the movie were "wives", he explained that at the time it was a live broadcast. The messages kept calling him "Hubby", so he joked that if anyone wanted to be his "wife" they should support his film. Many Hong Kong people online posted in support, Goo Jai said that he was touched and revealed that the film's Hong Kong premiere would take place next week and would have a series of promotional events in coordination like NFT and mobile phone game release at the computer fair; Hak Jai felt that he definitely needed to support the film, because this film was Goo Jai's heart and blood as well as a new milestone for Hong Kong film. That night Goo Jai also had many fans' support. They even surrounded him for autographs and photos, making every step difficult for him. Goo Jai responded to their every request and was rather friendly.

In addition, Sing Sing as the film festival ambassador attended with Lam Yiu Sing, Ho Kai Nam, Deon Cheung Chung Chi and Vincent Wan Yeung Ming and shared the production experience from WHEN THE WIND BLOWS (FUNG JOI HEI SI). Sing Sing expressed that director Philip Yung Tsz Kwong hoped to make a 50s and 60s Hong Kong story, feeling that he had the spirit of Hong Kong people of that era -- climbing up hard and not feeling the pain even after falling down! Sing Sing pointed out that the character was very challenging for him. He not only had to play the character from the start to age 90, the widest age range for a role in his film career; in order for continuity he also had to be sometimes fat and sometimes thin. For two nights in a row he shot a tap dance scene. Because tap dancing focused all on the legs, even with his dance background his legs were still sore, tired and in pain.

This film aside from his reunion with Yung Tsz Kwong after the film PORT OF CALL (DAP HUET CHUM MUI), he also worked with Tony Leung Chiu Wai again after 33 years! Sing Sing said, "Back then in the television series EVERYBODY'S SOMEBODY'S FAVORITE, Wai Jai played my gym teacher but didn't have a lot of screen time. I could only say we worked together. This time in the movie we truly had exchanges, which I was very happy about because Wai Jai and I are but very well prepared actors. During the shoot we had great chemistry and naturally would have good exchanges; Wai Jai is a very excellent actor, when he delivers the lines he even sounds great. To be able to work with excellent actors is a type of enjoyment, and exactly this type of exchanges are able to set off the most special spark." Also, Sing Sing said that as a dancer, he excelled in body language performance. He hoped in the future to have a chance to challenge a mute role that would require a lot of body language expressions.
