Famous action director Sit Chun Wai passed away on July 17th at the age of 49. Yesterday a memorial was held in Shatin. Her good friend Stanley Tong Kwai Lai helped him with the event and gave an eulogy in memory of him.

Sit Chun Wai worked as a stunt coordinator for nearly 30 years and worked on many famous films like POLICE STORY, RUMBLE IN THE BRONX, SHAOLIN SOCCER, LET THE BULLETS FLY. The Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild and Hong Kong Stuntman Association assisted with his affairs. Friends in the business like Jackie Chan, Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Jiang Wen and others sent floral arrangements. Tong Kwai Lai arrived early and looked sadden. When he talked about his late friend he broke down in tears. He said that the news of Sit Chun Wai's passing was very sudden, so far he remained emotional. In his eyes Sit Chun Wai was very happy and handsome, he performed on screen before. In the 90s they worked together a lot and even went to Hollywood together. Sit Chun Wai earlier participated in LET THE BULLETS FLY. He sighed that Sit Chun Wai's dream was to direct, but at the prime of his career he suddenly passed away. He would always remember him. He also revealed that Jackie Chan, Jiang Wen and Jingle Ma Chor Sing all urged him to handle Sit Chun Wai's affairs properly.
