Shi Nansun received the French government's Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for her contribution to Asian film and France cultural promotions. Two nights ago she had a banquet to celebrate with friends, Brigitte Lin (Lam Ching Ha) and her daughter, Josephine Siao Fong Fong and her husband, Daffy Tong Hok Tak, Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga) and her husband and son Oscar, Winnie Yu Tseng and Pansy Ho Chiu King attended. Cheung Ngai Ga's son Oscar was asked about relationship rumors with Isabella Leong Lok Si. He smiled and said, "No!"

Shi Nansun was very happy and very honored. She was surprised that the French Consul General to Hong Kong would praise her in length. She joked, "He told the entire story of half my life." Sh admitted that she had quite a history with France. Since age 12 she began studying French, for years she had a lot of exchanges with France. She also really liked the people and the spirit of Franc, but the honor did not add to her work stress. Her Film Workshop will start work on two films, she will produce with Alex Law Kai Yui a Mabel Cheung Yuen Ting directed film. She will produce another that Tsui Hark will direct. Will she invite her friend Lam Ching Ha to return? She said, "She is my friend, I don't want her to come back either. It's too tough. (Her) life now is pretty happy."
