The film BURSTING POINT (BAU LIT DIM) yesterday held a release date confirmation press conference to announce that its December 8th release in Hong Kong. Chief director and producer Dante Lam Chiu Yin, director Calvin Tong Wai Hon, actors Nick Cheung Ka Fai, William Chan Wai Ting, Chrissie Chau Sau Na, Isabella Leong Lok Si and Shaun Tam Chun Yin all rode on a luxury yacht to arrive at Central to attend the press conference. When they walked to the venue, almost 100 fans tightly followed Chan Wai Ting and caused a minor stir. Cheung Ka Fai was scared to quickening his pace to avoid any chaos.

Under the arrangement of the film company, Cheung Ka Fai carried a "bomb" cake to present to William Chan Wai Ting, who would turn 38 on the 21st. Chan Wai Ting said his birthday wish was to be healthy and for BURSTING POINT to have good box office performance, there were his birthday's greatest wishes. He also said that he has yet to see the film. Although in the film he and Cheung Ka Fai had many scenes together, he wanted to see Ka Fai's main plot performance. He also thanked him for his acting advice, and pointed out that the first scene they planned to shoot for two or three hours, but they took 6 hours to complete it. It was all his fault, and he joked that when he saw Ka Fai he was already very frightened.

Ka Fai joked that he did not dare to say that he was teaching him how to act. "I wouldn't dare, we were just discussing characters!" Speaking of being under Ka Fai's spell, Chan Wai Ting joked, "That was also marketing, but who isn't under his spell. I am one of them, it's just everyone blew the whole thing out of proportion!"

Cheung Ka Fai in the film not only had action scenes but also displayed his god class crying acting. Ka Fai also said, "This is all the marketing company's gimmicks, but this time every character was very focused on the drama. Everyone had to give their all to the performance." Did producer Lam Chiu Yin torture him again? He admitted, "That's how Lam Chiu Yin is. This time the story is a very flavorful design, especially since he rarely came to Hong Kong to make movies he was very interested. Then he tortured the actors, which was his usual preference."

As for Ka Fai accusing him of torturing him again, Lam Chiu Yin joked, "He is complaining about me again. I have wanted to shove Ka Fai for a long time. We haven't worked together for 9 years. This time I asked him if he was still able, he said yes. Last time I wanted his arm, this time I want his leg. I watched him jump down from over 10 feet above. When he landed I heard 'ouch' and saw him hurt his leg. I gave him a week off to rest, then he ran again." However Lam Chiu Yin joked that he got what he deserved. While shooting on location in Malaysia, he took hurt his leg and "returned the leg" to Ka Fai. The treatment took half a year, now his movement was limited.

Leong Lok Si said that in the film she too had action performances, but the director still spoiled her. Instead she saw all of the other actors had it very rough, especially Ka Fai who looked very worn out. As for action scenes, Leung Lok Si said, "I feel I can handle it, I can be an action actress." In the film Leung Lok Si played a villain for the first time. She said that in the film life made her into one. She also felt i was quite a challenge. She has never played one before and the role even had an emotional break down scene. Lam Chiu Yin pointed out that her character was not just a woman's emotional expression but also the emotion that erupted when life became hopeless. When they first worked together he worried whether she would be able to handle it, because in the past she only played a certain type of character and has been typecast. This time she broke through it as her performance had a lot of impact. It was a good start. Did Leung Lok Si feel the fight scenes or the crying scenes were harder? She said, "Although the fight scenes were tough, the character in the film had a very rich life background. During the performance it also required a lot of emotions, I kept having to leave then get back into the character."

Chau Sau Na and Tam Chun Yin played a couple this time. He revealed that at work he constantly apologized to her. "Everyday I said sorry to her, because everyday I was drenched in sweat and was very smelly. I had a flood scene, everyday I had to get wet for the shoot. I really stank!" Sister Na said, "I didn't smell anything. We were shooting in a cavern, maybe I myself smell just as bad!" Tam Chun Yin pointed out that working in a big coat under extreme heat warning, he fought with Ka Fai from morning to night. During the period crew members had heat stroke, even he got a little dizzy from working. Luckily he was not hurt, only bruises or minor scratches.

Chau Sau Na this time did not need any action performance, but she had to run over someone with a car and save someone. She said that during the shoot when she watched off screen Ka Fai and Tam Chun Yin fight, she could not help but keep "wowing". When she was working with Tam Chun Yin, she saw that his back and arms were all bruised and did not need any make up. Tam Chun Yin said, "That's the way fight scenes are, action director (Stephen) Tung Wai really likes one straight take. I told him, when I hear his voice I would have nightmares!"

He also said that he has not made a movie in 9 years, this time has been a lot of fun. He would take his family to the movies to enjoy it, except since it would not be suitable for children. He would not permit his children to watch it yet.
