Donnie Yen Chi Tan earlier appeared at Central. With period hair in modern clothing he was actually shoot a sequel for his upcoming film THE ICEMAN 3D (BING FUNG HUP 3D). Chi Tan seemed to be working many jobs on the set, aside from starring he also had to direct the action. Although he was busy, he still personally instructed the extras how to punch, kick and take their marks!
The over HK$ 200 million film THE ICEMAN 3D has been in production for some time. Yen Chi Tan, Simon Yam Tat Wa and others revealed on numerous occasions that the production has went over time, so far they still were uncertain when the film will wrap. Earlier Yen Chi Tan appeared at Central in costume, some asked and learned that he was shooting the sequel for THE ICEMAN. Perhaps the tam wanted to finish two films at once then release them?
Earlier around 5PM, the team began its preparation at the location. Around 7:30PM Chi Tan and his assistant appeared. In a long hair wig he put a red hair clip in his hair. This shoot featured Chi Tan and a foreigner in a suit's fight scene. Although it was a simple hand to hand combat scene, actor and action director Chi Tan still instructed extras how to strike and take their marks before the shoot. Then he would retreat to the side, play with his phone and discuss the shoot with the crew. After the extras finished fighting, Chi Tan then added a few camera facing shots and left around 9:30PM.
