Juno Mak Chun Lung yesterday promoted his new film RIGOR MORTIS (GEUNG SI) on Commercial Radio. The film received 3 Golden Horse Award nominations. The Best New Director nominee said, "I am very happy, especially about the Best Visual Effect nomination because the film has over 600 special effects." Juno was disappointed that Nina Paw Hee Ching was not nominated. "It's very regrettable. In one scene she attacked Lo Hoi Pang with an incense burner, which was shot 8 or 9 times. Each time she inhaled a lot of incense ash. After each time she would run out and vomit." He never thought about winning the New Director Award and would leave it up to fate.
Chin Siu Ho was confident that Juno will win. He felt that many film festivals selected the film, proving its substance. Yet he was a little mad that Paw Hee Ching was not nominated.
