Alex Law Kai Yui and Mabel Cheung Yuen Ting yesterday attended a Hong Kong University ECHOES OF THE RAINBOW (SHUI YUET SUN TAU) Conversation event. Cheung Yuen Ting mentioned that the film's child actor Buzz Chung Siu To was unhappy that he did not win the Hong Kong Film Award New Artist, two nights ago she already comforted him on the spot and planned to help with his family. Actually she already urged Chung Siu To's mother not to permit her son to make too many movies and to properly study. She said, "Because his entire family wanted to win. The child lost and was listless as he kept saying he was sleepy, asking for biscuits and milk. I spoke with him on the spot and praised him as talented as Brother, so he would know that no guarantee to win was also good." Law Kai Yui felt that setback for a child was good, as no one should just want to win.

Both revealed their own film projects. Cheung Yuen Ting conceived a 30's young couple screenplay that was based on the real story of Jackie Chan's parents. "Because it is very dramatic. During World War II many parents were separated from their other halves for decades before reuniting. Now with the award finding financing should be easier." As for the cast, Cheung Yuen Ting said, "No one is set yet. Jackie Chan refuses to play the father and Fong Cho Ming (Jaycee Chan)'s age is not suitable." Law Kai Yui was planning a story about the first Chinese woman who went to the U.S. and was involved with several men. He said, "The lead actress cannot be revealed yet, but after working with (Simon) Yam Tat Wa I fell in love with him. I want to work with him again."
