After TALES FROM THE DARK (MAI LEI YEH), I was lucky enough to run into Brother Ka Fai again!

The earlier collaboration with Tony Leung Ka Fai and director Lee Chi Ngai was rather pleasant, thus the director immediately wrote a new script. During making TALES FROM THE DARK he already had the HORSEPLAY (DOH MA GEI) concept and first draft, enabling our rapid reunion in HORSEPLAY.

Brother Ka Fai in HORSEPLAY played "master thief Nine Tailed Fox", the target of investigation for my "nosy reporter". Actually on and off screen Brother Ka Fai was my teacher. He gave me a lot of guidance in terms of acting. Each time Brother Ka Fai came to the set he had some new interpretation to show everyone. Each time was very fresh. He had the power to promote the entire team.

Leung Ka Fai this time played a master of disguise who specialized in stealing national treasures. To remain undetectable he often disguised himself on his missions. To display variety and show his funny side to the audience, this time Brother Ka Fai spent a lot of time on his disguises. He turned into an English gentleman, an Hip Hop fan with an afro, a nun, the funniest was after he dressed up as a rich wife in pink he made me make the same pose as his for photos. Brother Ka Fai liked his nun look the most, he said it was a complete transformation as no one was able to recognize him! Having won four Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor, Brother Ka Fai's biggest wish may be winning "Best Actress"!

HORSEPLAY is not only a battle of brains and brawn but also an European landmark scenic tour. In one scene in the film I followed Nine Tailed Fox to a Prague church. Amid the singing of the choir, I met him face to face for the first time. That scene received the famous Czech St. Peter and Paul Cathedral's permission to shoot on location and even invited the local children's choir to perform. Every painting, altar and sculpture in the church were very refined. Brother Ka Fai said that as soon as he stepped into the church he felt very holy. We all had to lower our voices, as we were afraid that we would destroy the solemn and peaceful feeling inside the church.

After the location shoot we returned to Hong Kong. We then went into the HORSEPLAY theme song WHY NOT TONIGHT music video shoot. Brother Ka Fai who rarely sang actually came prepared. As soon as he knew he had to shoot this music video, he learned from Aaron Kwok Fu Sing and even said that he was his imaginary rival! I hope viewers and fans after watching HORSEPLAY would like our HORSEPLAY theme song singing group.
