[2020.10.14] KIMAGURE ORANGE ROAD CREATOR IZUMI MATSUMOTO PASSED AWAY

Famous Japanese manga KIMAGURE ORANGE ROAD's creator Izumi Matsumoto earlier passed away at the hospital at age 61. Izumi Matsumoto was originally named Kazuya Terashima, born on October 13, 1958 in Takaoka, Toyama, Japan. After graduating from high school he chased his rock music dream in Tokyo, due to lack of proficiency in reading music he gave up and instead enrolled in a design academy. Earlier he caught the eyes of Weekly Shonen Jump and thus began his career as a mangaka. His representative work included KIMAGURE ORANGE ROAD and SESAME STREET. In recent years Matsumoto suffered from cerebrospinal fluid disease and earlier passed away. His official retail team thanked readers who have always supported Izumi Matsumoto and at the same time invited everyone to continue to enjoy Izumi Matsumoto's work.
