Giddens Ko yesterday with Lawrence Ko Yu Lun and Lin Hui-Min came to Hong Kong for the Entertainment Expo. He said that he, Ko Chen-Tung and Michelle Chen will attend the Asian Film Award Monday night. He had confidence in both of them and hoped that they would win. He felt very honored and gratified that so many Taiwan films were nominated.
Earlier Andy Lau Tak Wa mentioned that originally he had an idea of making YU LAU TAK WA JAU GOR DIK YUT JI (DAYS WITH ANDY LAU), which was similar to his YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE and Giddens Ko beat him to it. To avoid being accused of plagiarism he joked that he was "Yut Ba Doh". Giddens Ko said that Wa Jai was humorous and he was happy to hear his name from his idol's mouth. Recently A SIMPLE LIFE (TOH JEH) was going strong at the box office. Some said that it could threaten YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE's Hong Kong box office champion spot. He said not to talk about the challenge as he was very afraid of answering these questions. He too wanted to see A SIMPLE LIFE.
