Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Stephen Fung Tak Lun would work together again after 21 years on the Wong Jing new flm TAU HO TUNG CHUP (MOST WANTED). The story would revolve around the 1900 most wanted armed robber. Ka Fai would challenge the robber king role, which would have a lot of potential. Stephen in recent years has been working overseas and rarely made Hong Kong films. This time completely due to the attractive script the collaboration would happen. Recently he even shaved facial hair that he has been growing for awhile in preparation for the new film.
Fung Tak Lun and Cheung Ka Fai worked together on CON MAN (DOH HUP 2002) in 2002. Ka Fai in recent years liked to challenge different types of roles. Earlier he worked on a mainland film and played the son of a mob boss, whether in appearance or performance he thoroughly displayed his wildness. This time he would play the villain robber king, which would also have potential. Earlier Gordon Lam Ka Tung with the film TRIVISA (SHU DAI JIU FUNG) played a robber king role and won the Hong Kong Film Critic Society Award Best Actor and his first Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor.
Earlier while attending an event in Shanghai, Fung Tak Lun hinted that he would perform in a new film as an actor and play a rather richly emotional, experienced character. This time he in TAU would play a rather intelligent law enforcement personnel, battling brains and brawn with the sly robber king. Stephen in recent months even shaved the facial hair he has been grown for awhile in preparation for the role.
