The Hong Kong Film Archives from yesterday to May 15 held HONG KONG AUTEUR, LUNG KONG exhibit and screened a series of his films. The event yesterday held an exhibit opening party. Director Lung Kong along with his wife, son and daughter in law attended. Other guests included Nancy Sit Ka Yin, Ng See Yuen, Joe Cheung Tung Cho and others. Lung Kong at the party thanked the government and Hong Kong Film Archives for holding this retrospective exhibit, otherwise he deeply believed that his 50 years of hard work would have gone up in smoke. At this point he was no longer able to hold back his tears.

Sister Ka Yin who attended with her younger daughter Shek Yiu Chu revealed that her daughter returned to Hong Kong for ten days. She also said that her daughter earlier wanted to return for her birthday party but ran into an examination. As for director Lung Kong, Ka Yin expressed that when she was 15 or 16 director Lung Kong asked her to make TEDDY GIRLS (FEI NUI JING JUEN), but because she had to play an unwed mother her father thought it would destroy her image and turned it down; later Director Lung Kong again talked with her parents and finally successfully convinced them. Sister Ka Yin said, "Without Lung Kong, no one would know that Sit Ka Yin could act. Later TERRY GIRLS also won me 'Top Ten Star Award' and the 'Brilliant Star Cup'. Thus he is my benefactor."
