The 11th Asian Film Award nominations were announced, Kam Yin Ling received her first Best Supporting Actress nomination. She replied, "Life is unexpected, of course I am happy. At any award show I would want to win, but I am already very happy about the nomination and didn't dare to think too much. This news is also a good start for this year!" Would she celebrate with her partner Suzie Wong? She said that she would worry about it when she wins. As for the Lunar New Year she will visit Malaysia. In February she will work on a Tony Leung Ka Fai directed new film in February.

Kara Wai Ying Hung with HAPPINESS (HUNG WON SI NGOR) received a Best Actress nomination. Chan Ka Lok participated in the film. After hearing the good news he immediately sent a text message to congratulate Sister Siu Hung. He knew that her mother passed away recently, he only left a brief message since he did not want to bother her too much. As for his lack of nomination, he said that the competition was too strong and he was young anyway. Being able to witness Best Actress level abilities, he was able to learn not to give up and hoped that he would have a Hong Kong Film Award nomination.

Wai Sze Nga revealed that she was working on a film with Louis Cheung Kai Chung. In the film she played a daughter with cancer. She has been working on the film through Christmas and New Year. Since her character affected her emotions she was not in any mood to celebrate. However since she lived with her parents, she helped out with the home renovations. She also revealed that she had six pets at home including an owl and a squirrel. Earlier she caught a millipede and said that she should be able to overcome her fear of snakes.
