Veteran actor Lai Han Chi earlier passed away due to acute pneumonia at the age of 62. Two days ago services began in Po Fook Memorial Hall in Shatin. His godmother Mrs. Kwan Hoi San and friends Nina Paw Hee Ching, Susan Shaw Yam Yam and Wong Ha Wai paid their respect.

His brother Lai Meng Chi pointed out that Lai Han Chi passed away very peacefully. After cremation his ashes will be placed in Fanling Fung Ying Seen Koon.

Mrs. Kwan Hoi San was inevitably teary eyed when she talked about her god son's passing. She said that she found out about it on television and was very heartbroken and sadden. He praised Lai Han Chi as being very filial. Back when Kwan Hoi San passed he mourned as well.

Sister Paw said that Lai Han Chi was a classmate in Heung To Middle School. In her memory, he was both friendly and handsome in school.
