Recently busy promoting his new film THE ROOFTOP, Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun) yesterday continued to Chengdu. Chairman Chou hoped that the film will broke 100 million yuan at the box office. In addition, earlier in an interview he revealed that he was afraid of water, height and closed spaces. He revealed that for the film he had to climb onto a 3 story tall bull horn for romance. He stated, "It was too scary."
The film had a lot of a musical elements. Chairman Chou created almost 40 all new songs, including the Nakasi style Taiwanese songs MONEY IS HARD TO MAKE and NIGHT MARKET WALK; the overseas team that he worked with did not dare to believe that he was able to shoot, act and create music on the set at the same. Chairman Chou joked, "When inspiration thrived it was quite a bother, because I didn't get to sleep." He even confidently said that fans could watch the film before deciding to buy the original soundtrack.
