Karena Ng Chin Yu, Alex Lam Tak Shun, Jeremy Xu (Tsui Ching Hei), Janelle Sing Kwan and Raymond Wong Pak Ming yesterday attended the new film CHING CHUN DAU (YOUTH BATTLE) production start ceremony at an international school. In a student look Alex joked that he was a "cute idiot" and praised this look as very refreshing. In school he loved the hip hop look and often wore his pants low. Would he and Chin Yu have a romance? He said no, but he would play a very shy guy who did not dare to make his feelings known to Sing Kwan.
Would he take the initiative in real life? Alex admitted, "I want to! Yet when I was in boarding school in the U.S. it had no girls. I didn't date until I was 18 at the university. She was a girl of Japanese and Korean descent who was raised in the U.S. (Why did you break up?) She didn't like me, I was dumped." Coincidentally his current girlfriend Linah Matsuoka is also Japanese. Did he have a preference for Japanese girls? He after avoiding the question said that at the time the heart break was painful. In addition he did not know anything in his first relationship, but he would not talk about it with his father George Lam Tsz Cheung. Instead he would tell his mother and Sally Yeh (Yip Sin Man). He said, "My relationship with Sally is a little closer, we can talk about anything."
Looking tired, Chin Yu said that this period was the toughest in her career because she had to work on two films at the same time. She did not even have time to sleep. In addition two days ago she was in the sun all day while working on the other film WHERE ARE YOU? (WONG GA YUN) and she felt like she had a little heat stroke. She continued that in CHING CHUN DAU she would play a couple with Tsui Ching Hei, but they would not have any intimate scene. Was that because she was afraid that Raymond Lam Fung would be jealous? She said, "No, the most intimate would only be an arm around the shoulder, there would be nothing for him to be jealous about!"
As for Tsui Ching Hei he revealed that he would stay in Hong Kong for over a month for the shoot. She stated that this was a very important chance to meet with his girlfriend Niki Chow Lai Kei. He also said that in the film he had a lot of action scenes. Was he normally quite a fighter? He said, "I have been practicing all along, I would try to do as much as I can. (Are you afraid of injury?) I have been hurt in every film, I have even fallen off a horse."
