DAY 2, AFTERNOON, MAIN CHARACTER HOME
Chrissie Chau Sau Na pulled me aside and told me, "I am very worried." I asked her what she was worried about. "I actually have never played such a realistic character with such major emotional scenes. I am worried that I wouldn't perform well and disappoint you." I encouraged her to turn "worry" into motivation, to have confidence in herself. Finally......the next day with a major emotional scene, she completed it in one take! Should the credit go to my direction, or her strong ability to comprehend? I am not sure anymore.
