Currently in preparation, the film TO THE FORE (POR FUNG) gave director Dante Lam Chiu Yin a surprise on his July 1st birthday with its leads Eddie Peng Yu-Yen, Shawn Dou Xiao and producer Candy Leung Fung Ying at midnight. The actors presented a birthday cake and sang the birthday song as they suddenly appeared in front of Lam Chiu Yin. He could not be more touched.
TO THE FORE's preparation has already reached it final stages, not only the director and the producer have been planning night and day, testing and rehearsing, but the cast also have been training on actual highways during the day while at night they had extra physical and bicycle technique training. Even though everyone was very tired, when the cast learned about the director's birthday they not only prepared their gifts but also excitedly planned a surprise for the director during the night practice.
On July 1 at midnight, Peng Yu-Yen who was planned to train gave Dou Xiao the signal, brought out the birthday cake and lit the candles as they walked toward Lam Chiu Yin who was working. They sang the birthday song. The director happily laughed and said, "Thank you everyone."
Peng Yu-Yen half jokingly said, "Actually today we are celebrating with the director, after the celebration our day is done." Lam Chiu Yin wished for smooth preparation and production for TO THE FORE and could not help but joked, "Do you want me to wish for a day off tomorrow?" Everyone laughed and nodded, only Leung Fung Ying laughed and shook her head. Peng Yu-Yen and Dou Xiao each prepared mystery birthday gifts. What did Dou Xiao give to the director? He declined to reveal and said that it was left up to the director to see for himself.
