Mabel Cheung Yuen Ting and Alex Law Kai Yui were guests on a nowTV program. They spoke about being broke film students in the U.S. They dared to go to Chinatown for free meals and made friends with mobsters to resolve life issues. Later with the help of the "boss" they found part time jobs and were hired at a video store. Cheung Yuen Ting and Law Kai Yui's classic films AN AUTUMN'S TALE and ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT were inspired by their days with the local community.
