The director Benny Chan Muk Sing, action director Corey Yuen Kwai co-directed, Andy Lau Tak Wa, Jackie Chan, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Fan Bingbing starred, Emperor Motion Pictures, China Film Group, Huayi Brothers Media, Beijing Silver Moon Productions and Shaolin Temple Cultural Communication Centre (Dengfeng) co-production that costs nearly 200 million RMB, the kung fu film SHAOLIN (SUN SIU LUM JI) has already begun work in early January.

Although the film is still early in production, China Central Television has already selected it as one of the most anticipated Chinese films of 2010. The U.S. film magazine Screen International also introduced it as such. The film has only been in production for a short month but the cast including Lau Tak Wa, Tse Ting Fung, Fan Bingbing, Yu Shaoqun, action director Yuen Kwai and others have better and better chemistry. Encouraged by all the good news, Ting Fung is practicing harder to prepare his performance. In the film he will face Lau Tak Wa's Seven Star Fist.
