Mainland male star Huang Xiaoming earlier worked with Sean Lau Ching Wan on the film BO FUNG YU (VIOLENT CRAZY TALK), in which Ching Wan played a very dangerous murderer. Xiaoming admitted that during rehearsal Ching Wan scared him. "I always thought he was a honest and kind person, but this time during the rehearsal with him, I never expected that his mean look would truly scare me so badly!"
BO's producer Derek Yee Tung Sing even made a special mention of actress Fiona Sit Hoi Kei. "She has always been underestimated as a good actress, she should be able to win Best Actress sooner or later."
